Daria Tsymbalyuk

Daria Tsymbalyuk researches, writes, and draws. She received her doctoral degree from the University of St Andrews; her dissertation was devoted to displacement from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the war, as well as to the relationships between humans and plants disrupted by this violence. Together with Yuliia Filipieva and Viktor Zasypkin, she is the author of the art project “Donbas Odyssey”. Together with Victoria Donovan, she is the author of the book “The Limits of Collaboration: Art, Ethics, and the Donbas”, published in 2022.
