Halyna Shyian

Translator, writer, poet, and photographer. In 2012 her translation of the Booker Prize laureate DBC Pierre’s novel “Lights Out in Wonderland” was published. Based on it, Shyian created the project “Decadence Takes Its Toll”, which united participants under the author’s registered creative brand “Batrachomyomachia”. She has her own circle of readers, actively posts online, and works on photo projects in the genre of documentary street photography. In 2014 the Old Lion Publishing House released her debut novel “Hunt, doctor, Hunt!”, illustrated by the author’s friend Marianna Vynar.
