In my view, midwifery requires not only a medical education but also a deep interest in the world of women, birth, and love. So I keep discovering new facets of this “science”: I study perinatal psychology and psychotherapy, sexology, and breastfeeding, and I prepare women for childbirth and motherhood. I also deeply wish for women to realize that motherhood can be very different, yet equally beautiful in every case.
