Judith Butler
American philosopher and gender theorist, Professor of Comparative Literature and Critical Theory at the University of California, Berkeley. One of the most influential contemporary feminist thinkers, she is best known for developing the theory of gender performativity and for her books Gender Trouble and Bodies That Matter.
