In Paris, hundreds of women gathered outside the Ministry of Justice to demand the passage of a comprehensive anti-violence law

In Paris, a rally was held near the Ministry of Justice, calling for the adoption of a 69-article bill against sexual and gender-based violence, which has begun being considered by parliament.

Protesters and politicians are demanding full funding for the initiative — around €3 billion per year. Human rights organizations have announced weekly demonstrations every Monday until the bill is finally adopted.

The bill covers violence prevention, the creation of specialized courts, stronger investigations, support for survivors, and the criminalization of incest as a separate offense.
