Ukrainian women now enjoy their hard-fought right to be in the military and to be in combat positions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine after 2014. But the question remains, whether they really enjoy equality and whether there is still a glass ceiling to shatter? Women in the military face numerous hardships, like the lack of women’s military wear and sexual harassment, to name a few. Despite that, female soldiers stand strong, heroically defending their Homeland.
