Nina LEVCHUK: «Since the war has been already going on for 8 years, it is very important to think about how we will later rebuild the country and restore the economy, build new modern opportunities in the country, provide these opportunities»
I have been working in tech sphere at Google company for ten years. I have founded Women Digital Academy by Google, which has helped more than 50,000 women from Ukraine get a free online education. I have also worked with gender issues in IT: I am an activist in the field of supporting women in technologies Stem is Fem and a co-founder of Femtech Academy in Europe.
Oleksandra ROMANTSOVA, human rights activist, executive director of the Center for Civil Liberties
“Women in that war did a lot for us to be here, and not where russia wants to see us”.
Ksenia BUKSHINA: “My personal dream and goal at the same time my is to make the life of Ukrainian women safer and more comfortable”.
Before the full-scale war, I had worked as a journalist, researched social problems and reforms, and engaged in advocacy. My team and I developed the media on conscious motherhood Promum, and we studied key reforms in Ukraine, researched gender order and related problems at the analytical center Constructive.Institute, especially, domestic violence, its impact on women and children, and inequality between men and women. We communicated these topics to the media, drew the attention of the state to them.
Sofia BURTAK: “We plan to distribute our forces in order to support rural women or involve them into project initiatives”
My name is Sofia Burtak. I have a PhD in political studies. My main education is political studies, but my field of activity - agriculture and rural development in particular.
Iryna TSYBUKH: “The injustice experienced by the children of war will never let us give up on victory or make any compromises”
Before the war, I lived a wonderful life: I sank my teeth into travel, project management and study. We made projects for children: we developed media centers in remote villages and cities of Ukraine, introduced media literacy into the educational process.
